This video explains how to import data for the Customer App. This feature is in response to requests from companies that manage their data in other CRM tools or Excel, and allows for easy creation of data in CSV.
First, click on the Customer Contacts section to upload the data. Since most CRM applications support CSV export, we assume that exporting will be no problem. Click on Format and you will be presented with an example of entering names and email addresses.
Copy this format and edit your own data as needed. For example, you may have unique information such as the number of times a customer has visited your store, kana information, etc. How you handle these data is handled by creating custom fields. For example, you can add a variety of information to a custom field, such as the number of times a customer has visited a store or a customer code.
Custom fields can be used to add or delete data to suit your own operations. For Kana information, each custom field is assigned an ID, which can then be copied and reflected in the data.
When ready, download the data in CSV and upload it to the customer. You can enrich the data and enter additional information. However, be careful with the header information.
Once the data has been created, upload it in the Contact Upload section. Information such as images and email addresses can be included, and data such as the number of store visits can be managed by adjusting the display settings.
By entering data in CSV like this, CRM operations can be started immediately. If you are considering migrating to Customer from other CRM tools or Excel-based management, take advantage of this feature.
