Basic Flow of Production Management
The basic flow of Production Management in Sanka is as follows:
Step 1: Create Orders
- Go to the Orders object.
- Click Add New Order and fill in the details, including customer information, product specifications, and quantity.
- Save the order to generate a unique order ID.
Step 2: Create Production Plans Based on Orders
- Navigate to the Production Plans object.
- Click Create New Production Plan.
- Link the plan to the relevant order by selecting the order ID.
- Define the production steps, including materials needed and estimated timelines.
- Save the production plan to finalize.
Step 3: Create Tasks Based on Production Plans
- Open the saved production plan.
- Click Add Task to break down production steps into actionable items.
- Assign tasks to team members and set deadlines.
- Save tasks to ensure they appear in the Tasks object for tracking.
Step 4: Update Inventory / Inventory Transactions Based on Completed Tasks
- Once tasks are marked as completed, navigate to the Inventory object.
