Creating a production plan in Sanka is the second crucial step in the production management process.

A production plan is a detailed schedule that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources needed to fulfill an order. It bridges the gap between customer orders and task execution by ensuring:

Process to Create a Production Plan

1: Navigate to the Production Management module from the left-hand menu, then select Production Plans object. To create new, click + New button on the right side.

2: A new page with detailed form will appear, prompting you to input production plan details. Firstly, select the Production Status.

3: Select the relevant item from the dropdown list of existing orders.

  • If you need more item, click Add Item button to select from the item already registered.

  • Or you can add the item manually by clicking the Manual Input button.

4: Input the start date for the production plan. Click Create to finalize the production plan.

5: The production plan record will now be accessible in the Production Plans list.

Managing Production Plans

6: To edit a Production Plan, click on the Production Plan ID to show the detailed page.

7: Enter the changes and click update to save your changes.
