Overview
Creating a task in Sanka is the third step in the production management workflow. Tasks are essential for breaking down production plans into actionable steps, assigning responsibilities, and tracking progress.
In Sanka, a task represents a specific action or activity required to complete a production plan. Tasks allow you to:
- Assign responsibilities to team members.
- Define clear deadlines and objectives.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion.

Process to Create a Task
1: Navigate to the Production Management module on the left-hand menu, then select the Tasks object.
The task will be changed to Project, in which you can easily break down many tasks in one project.
2: You can rename the project from the option button. Click Update to save the change.
3: Once you update, you will be directed to Project Management which is linked to the task on Production Management. You can directly edit anything there or back to Production Management.
4: If you need to add new project, click the dropdown button and click New Project.
5: Click the + New button. A task creation detailed page will appear, prompting you to input task details.
6: Fill in the task details
7: Define the status of the task.
8: Double-check all task details for accuracy. Then click Create to finalize the task creation.
9: The task will now appear in the Tasks record lists.
Edit Tasks
10: Click on the Task ID Edit to update details like deadlines or task status.
11: In the detailed page, enter your changes of the task.
12: Click Update to save your changes.
Manage Tasks View
13: You can change the view of the records by clicking the option button. There are 3 view types:
- Table (default view)
- Calendar
- Gantt Chart
14: You can also adjust what’s to be shown in the columns or sort and filter the records.
15: Click Update to save your changes.
16: Your table will now updated following your current changes.
How to Archive Order Information
The archive function allows you to hide registered task information from the table.
17: Click the box for the task you want to archive and select "Archive."
18: Archived task will be grayed out.
19: To unarchive a task, click the box for the relevant task and select "Activate."
20: The grayed-out status will be removed, and the task will return to its normal display.
